Cale Hawkins' Summer Get-Down :: Infinity Cafe :: JTNY

Our good buddy, Keyboardist Cale Hawkins, just finished college at Berklee and he's back in town for only a few days, to play at The Great Blue Heron Music Festival this weekend in Sherman, NY. He has also set up an informal concert in Downtown Jamestown with some local former bandmates, the Summer Get Down is being billed as "an evening of Funk, Soul, Jazz and R&B", taking place on MONDAY July 9th, from 7-9pm, at the Infinity Cafe on Third Street in Downtown Jamestown.

This will be a rare opportunity to see these musicians play together again, and you will be bummed if you miss it. What the hell else do you have to do on a Monday Night, anyways?

All Decks On Hand :: Sk8 Deck Art Show :: JTNY

The second installation of our skateboard deck art show, All Decks on Hand, will open Saturday June 23rd at 3rd on 3rd Galllery in Jamestown, NY. The show will feature 40 decks from 30+ artists, with many of the artists expected to be present for the opening, which is slated to run from 7-10 pm. There will also be classic skate films playing on the projector, and an acoustic performance in the gallery by our good buddy Joey Cobra.

When the gallery closes at 10, there will be an afterparty 'til 2am, literally right around the corner, at Mojo's Music Bar with some friends who call themselves The No Good Doo-Gooders.

All the pieces in this skate deck show have been donated by the artists, and will be sold at silent auction as a fundraiser for improving the free public skatepark in JTNY. The Show will hang from June 21- July 9, and the auction will last for the duration of the event.
