Mosaic Foundation @ EBC west :: Friday 2/3 :: Fredonia, NY

Mosiac Foundation is a killer roots reggae band from Rochester, NY, who have been playing shows and making waves all over NY state and beyond for the last couple years. This Friday, February 3rd, they'll be playing at one of our favorite spots, EBC West, 34 Main Street in Fredonia.

This FREE SHOW isn't technically an Artists Alliance event, but we will definitely be there. There are not many things better than good live reggae on a freezing winter night.

Also coming up at EBC West:

Saturday Feb 4th - Universe Shark

Saturday Feb 11th- The Ameros

Saturday Feb 18th- The Rodney Horning Project

(all FREE shows!)

Opening Reception / Holiday Party :: Sat 12/17 :: Fredonia, NY

AAAlliance co-founders Angela Caley and Bill Thomas' painting show at EBC in Fredonia has been hanging for over a month, and we have finally gotten around to organizing an opening reception for it. We know alot of people will have family and work christmas parties this weekend, but if you don't already have plans, here's something rad to do.

As always, EBC will have their excellent selection of beers and food, and there will be live music from WNY legend Christopher Bell and our good buddies in the band Green Genes, who are getting ready to leave on a national tour in the new year.

This is a FREE SHOW with no cover charge.

We will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items at the door, to benefit a local food pantry for the holiday season.

come check it out. Ho Ho Ho.

Art of the Anew :: Domestic Violence Awareness Art Show :: JTNY

The Salvation Army Anew Center, Chautauqua County's domestic violence and rape crisis service provider, is hosting its first art exhibition during Domestic Violence Awareness Month! In "Art of the Anew: Domestic Violence Awareness Through Creative Art" the goal is to create stories surrounding gender-based violence and how it affects individuals, families, communities, and our world. Let's come together and instigate community wide discussions about the pervasiveness and often invisible nature of domestic violence through creative art.

All artistic media is accepted and must be submitted by October 10th. For more information, Contact Event Organizer Vanessa Weinert for more information. This event is one of awareness; however, artists may sell their pieces with a small percentage of the proceeds going to The Salvation Army Anew Center.

There will be an opening reception Friday October 14th at the Lillian V. Ney Rennaissance Center in Downtown Jamestown. Several AAAlliance Member Artists will be particpipating in this show.
